Popstar Marija Zezelj for Grazia Magazine - "Feel The Heat"

Marija Zezelj is a stunning young Serbian pop star, model and recently started her own clothing line Machika.

My favorite photographer Matt Pluz was approached with the opportunity to shoot an editorial with while she was briefly in Miami and graciously asked me if I would be part of the time along with Italian wardrobe stylist Francesca Lopresti, who always brings a cool European approach to fashion and Key West-based hairstylist Amanda Robinson.

We wanted to do a story that was a statement on climate change. The juxtaposition of sporty winter sports wardrobe mixed with swimwear using South Pointe Beach in South Beach as our backdrop.

For Makeup, I started very clean and then built up. I did a matte neon orange-red lip with one look. Another look had a silver pigment swipe across her nose and another look had a football player swipes of neon yellow under each eye.

The result was this sporty and vivid neon and cool metallics that we think overall turned out pretty cool, i mean hot. err….. you know what i mean!
