Brooke Buchanan by Megane Claire

Photographer Megane Claire and I shot Brooke Lynn Buchanan who is signed with Wilhelmina Models here in Miami in July. Brooke just moved here from New York City and was sent to us for new images that would make her portfolio more marketable to Miami clients. The plan was to photograph her in swimwear on the beach but a storm rolled through while I was doing her makeup and Megane took out the studio lights and we ended up shooting some fun but glam looks indoors instead.

For Brooke's makeup, I exfoliated and gave her skin lots of hydration with some natural Weleda skincare and then perfected her gorgeous skin with a custom blend of Tom Ford stick foundation which left her skin looking incredibly rich and even without covering her gorgeous smattering of freckles. A bit of strategic contour and highlighting here and there, a light flush with KOSAS cream blush, a winged eyeliner, popped on some Ardell naked lashes *my new favorite), mascara on top and bottom lashes for sultry eye. I finished by giving her lips a lot of definition with Charlotte Tilbury lipliner in Bond Girl and decided to not layer lipstick on top and opted for a bit of highlighter on the cupids bow and the middle of the bottom lip to make them look extra luscious. Brooke was styled in a gorgeous light pink dress from Revolve and a snow leopard Lingerie Set. Hair by Megane Claire.
